John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix (11 are officially supported, not counting different architectures), DOS, Win32, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Its primary purpose is to detect weak Unix passwords. Besides several crypt(3) password hash types most commonly found on various Unix flavors, supported out of the box are Kerberos AFS and Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 LM hashes, plus several more with contributed patches.

Downlaod Nmap

I think everyone has heard of this one, recently evolved into the 4.x series.
Nmap (“Network Mapper”) is a free open source utility for network exploration or security auditing. It was designed to rapidly scan large networks, although it works fine against single hosts. Nmap uses raw IP packets in novel ways to determine what hosts are available on the network, what services (application name and version) those hosts are offering, what operating systems (and OS versions) they are running, what type of packet filters/firewalls are in use, and dozens of other characteristics. Nmap runs on most types of computers and both console and graphical versions are available. Nmap is free and open source.
Can be used by beginners (-sT) or by pros alike (–packet_trace). A very versatile tool, once you fully understand the results.

How to Create New partition in Windows 7

Follow these steps to Create new partition in Windows 7





1. Right-Click on My Computer , then Click on Manage .

















2. In the Computer management Windows , Navigate Storage , the Click on Disk management .












3.  Right-Click on that Partition Which you want to Resize , then Click on Shrink Volume to create New Partition . 













4. In the New Windows , Give the size in Volume or New Partition in MB . Suppose i have given 2GB ( 2000 MB ) .then Click on Shrink . 















5.  Now 1.95 GB free Space Available , then Right -Click on Free Space then Click on New Simple Volume ..



6.  Click Next on the Welcome Wizard 
7.  Enter the Volume size , Then Click on next .

7. Now if you want to Format  Volume then , Click on Format this Volume with the following setting Radio button .
Then Select File system --    FAT or NTFS and Allocation Unit Default , and type the Name of Volume in Volume level , then Click on Next .

8 . In the Completion Wizard windows , Click on Finish .

Now new Volume Com-networks has been created .
